BU 80-10, 110-10, 140-10
The base unit is built on a solid frame with the fluid tanks placed in the middle. The diesel engine with hydraulic pumps, fluid pumps, fuel and hydraulic tanks are all placed on the rear of the frame. Easy access is provided for all systems behind sound insulated hoods. A handheld fire extinguisher is placed beside the basket.
The base units have as standard, a rear wheel drive and front wheel steering. The traction system with hydraulic wheel motors allows simple and accurate maneuvering. Also the steering system is hydrostatic and controlled by proportional valves.
Parking and emergency brakes use a spring loaded mechanical system. The emergency brakes are automatically engaged if an engine stop occurs or if a hydraulic hose in the traction system breaks. If the vehicle has to be towed, an electricly powered hydraulic pump provides oil pressure to the wheel motors and the steering system. This pump can also be used for operating the lift when the engine is not running.
Since both the traction and fluid pumps are hydraulically
powered only one diesel engine is required. This results in low fuel consumption, reduced
exhaust emission and low service costs.
BU 110-11, 140-11
The same as BU 110-10/140-10 but includes a low emission
diesel engine that meets the requirements in the standard EURO 2 (and soon also EURO 3)
BU 110-20, 140-20
The same as BU 110-10/140-10 but includes a four wheel drive and a gas/hydraulic wheel suspension. This option is useful if long transportation runs are needed and gives the driver a comfortable ride also on bumpy surfaces. The increased power is favorable when towing or running on muddy or snowy ground.The same as BU 110-20/140-20 but includes a low emission diesel engine that meets the requirements in the standard EURO 2 (and soon also EURO 3)
