FLUID TANKS  MAIN COMPONENTS    SPECIFICATIONS

 

GENERAL

All tanks are equipped with illuminated level glasses that can be controlled  from outside the vehicle. As an option, a display showing fluid levels and temperatures on the control panel is available. The tanks are normally filled through the covers at the top but as an option there is also a pressure filling system (VT 110,140).

The entire upper tank cover can be removed which means easy cleaning and inspection. Fluid shut-of valves and drainage valves are easily reached behind insulated covers on the tank side. All tanks are made of stainless steel and equipped with baffles.


VT 80-10, 110-10, 140-10  

This is a single tank used for pre-mixed fluid. The tank is heat insulated and equipped with immersion heaters, thermometer and a warning signal at low level.

 VT 80-20, 110-20, 140-20  

This is a double tank used either for two different pre-mixed fluids or for concentrated type 1 fluid in one tank and water in the other. The tanks are heat insulated and equipped with immersion heaters, thermometers and a warning signal for low levels. The plate that separates the two tanks is designed so that the fluids can not be mixed if there is a break in the welding.

VT 80-30, 110-30, 140-30  

This tank is smaller and normally used for type 2(4) fluid. This tank is not heated or heat insulated.
