GENERAL MAIN COMPONENTS SPECIFICATIONS
All pumps are of diaphragm-type and powered by a constant pressure hydraulic system resulting in constant fluid pressure regardless of the flow. The type 1/water system is regulated to a temperature of 90°C (195°F). Max fluid flow and pressure can easily be set by means of the hydraulic system. The total flow is not affected if the pump speed ratio is changed.
Beneath the fluid pumps is placed a pan with a small well in which is mounted a level indicator. If a pump membrane breaks in the type 1 pump there will be a lower fluid concentration than expected. This will be indicated by the level indicator that lights up a warning lamp on the control panel.
The pumps are easily accessed behind insulated hoods that make a closed room. This room is heated to eliminate the risk of freezing.
PS 10 is a simple system used for pre-mixed fluid and equipped with
only one pump.
PS 11 includes a pump for type 2(
PS 20 is equipped with 2 pumps powered through a mechanical gear box
with one ratio. In addition 100% type 1 (freeze protection) and 100% water can be
selected.
PS 21 includes a pump for type 2(
PS 30 is equipped with 2 pumps powered through a shiftable mechanical gear box with three ratios (e.g. 70/30, 50/50, 30/70). In addition, 100% type 1 (freeze protection) and 100% water can be selected.
With this system itīs possible to choose a mix ratio close to the actual temperature instead of the lowest expected temperature. This will reduce the glycol consumption considerably. The mixing ratio can be set from the basket and is indicated by a signal lamp.
PS 31 includes a pump for type 2(
4) fluid.PS 40 is equipped with 2 pumps powered through a shiftable mechanical gear box with five ratios (e.g. 70/30, 50/50, 40/60, 30/70, 20/80). In addition; 100% type 1 (freeze protection) and 100% water can be selected.
With this system itīs possible to choose a mix ratio close to the actual temperature instead of the lowest expected temperature. This will reduce the glycol consumption considerably
. The mixing ratio can be set from the basket and is indicated by a signal lamp.PS 41 includes a pump for type 2 fluid.
PS 50 is equipped with 2 pumps powered through hydraulic motors via proportional valves which results in a completely variable ratio. Temperature sensors outside the vehicle regulate the flow of water and type 1 fluid by means of a digital control system, providing the correct mixture as defined by ISO (SAE) standards or customers demand. The system is supervised by a number of security functions. In addition, 100% type 1 (freeze protection) and 100% water can be selected. With this system itīs possible to choose a mix ratio according to the actual temperature instead of the lowest expected temperature. This will reduce the glycol consumption considerably.
PS 51 includes a pump for type 2(
4) fluid.
